I specialize in creating soundscapes conducive for accessing states of deep meditation and relaxation.

being a trained meditation teacher I use mindfulness as the root of my practice and infuse it into the sessions.

I use instruments such as crystal bowls, gong, chimes, drums, guitar, didgeridoo and hand pan. I also like to use synth and natural field recordings to help create atmosphere.

I was born and raised in the rainforest region of far north Queensland, Australia. From one jungle to another circumstances led me to Los Angeles in 2017 where I have since become a permanent citizen.

Prior to arriving in the states I traveled and worked in a diverse range of situations in different corners of the world. This allowed me to develop a broader understanding of the interconnectedness of all things on the planet and to start on the path to a deepening spirituality.

I have since studied and earned certifications in mindfulness meditation and sound healing techniques.

Though now permanently residing in LA, the wild nature of northern Australia will always hold space in my heart. The beauty and the rawness of the natural world is my biggest inspiration and I endeavor to channel this spirit through my instruments and recordings.

I am a father to two and when not playing or recording music I enjoy practicing Muay Thai, yoga, going camping and the occasional surf.

 FAQ

  • short answer: NOTHING! there is literally nothing to do but lie and receive the sounds and vibrations. I will guide using simple instructions to allow one to access deeper states of meditation. no experience needed.

  • I keep my practice grounded. I teach meditation and create spaces that are all inclusive and steer away from too much spiritual jargon or religious concepts. I like to think that mindfulness and sound healing can be uselful tools for anyone and everyone for their everyday lives.

  • It varies greatly as everyone will have their own individual experience. The session is designed for ultimate relaxation of mind and body but in truth a lot of things can be felt during and after a sound bath. This can range greatly from euphoria, sadness, anger, boredom, deep reflection etc. I always encourage the participant to allow whatever needs to come up to come up. To feel what needs to be felt. But generally speaking it’s just a good way to really chill out!!

  • The instruments are mostly acoustic and produce not only sound but vibrations as well. To be at a live sound bath is full immersion in the experience and allows one to really absorb the energy that is produced. It’s very hard to faithfully replicate the sound and feel of the instruments with a recording and so while listening at home is still a great thing to do the effect just won’t be the same as in person.
